Barber Half Census
The BCCS is conducting a rarity survey as well as a population census for Barber Halves among members and Barber enthusiasts.
This project has two parts: a Population Census for Barber Halves, and a Rarity Survey for better dates in the Barber Half series.
Instructions are included for each part. This page is the Census.
When you are completed with the Census, be sure to also fill out the Rarity Survey.

BCCS Census for Barber Halves |
Please enter the number of coins of each date that you have in each grade in the appropriate boxes (no need to enter zero). Just the number of coins is needed. Please use accepted grading standards. If you need some guidance, you may refer to the BCCS web page on Barber Half Grading. Be especially diligent in designating true mint state coins. Since this is purely to determine rarity, please grade as conservatively and accurately as possible.
The 1892-O Micro O is listed as a separate date, due to its extreme popularity and significance. If you are not sure if your 1892-O is the Micro O, you see how to tell them apart by clicking this link.
If any of the coins you report belong to the additional listed die varieties, please also specify those in the separate Varieties section. These coins should also be counted in the main tally.
If you have any problems with this form, please send us mail at
bccs@barbercoins.org. If you have already submitted this form and have
made corrections, please make a note of that in the "Comments" box at the bottom. Thank you for your participation!
